Our client is a highly regarded national firm with an outstanding, Chambers ranked Healthcare practice. They have a robust and rapidly growing pharmaceutical practice. Their attorneys have long-standing experience in advising retail, mail-order, specialty, compounding, and institutional pharmacies, as well as in working with pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), managed care/insurance entities, academic medical centers, and wholesale distributors.
The firm is also known for its client service and culture of respect for their employees and their lives outside of work.
Their DC office has a need for an attorney with two to three years of experience working on pharmaceutical regulation and compliance issues., including:
- FDA Regulation regarding Drugs Licensing
- Advising Manufacturers on drug compliance with Federal Regulations
- Compounding Regulation
- Fraud and Abuse
This person must have experience counseling clients on issues related to state and federal fraud and abuse laws, such as the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, as well as health care and pharmaceutical licensing and compliance with Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations. Experience with regulatory due diligence in complex transactions, including advising on the potential kickback implications of clients’ contractual arrangements with health care entities is critical.
