Function:

Primary role is Product/System Development: 

  •          Developing sensor technology to be embedded in existing products
  •          Customer interaction for those projects that involve large customers
  •          Working with BUS protocols, including but not limited to CAN/CAN Open
  •          Prototype development (coordination of modifications to parts based on testing results, hands-on if needed).
  •          Testing (test requests & coordination of testing personnel, hands-on testing, analysis of test data, testing reports)
  •          Design reviews; DFMEA; coordination with other departments including manufacturing, supply chain, quality
  •          All aspects of product development from Concept through Launch.
  •          Coordination of part inspection by working with Quality Team.

Skills:

  •          Gain and maintain a working knowledge of all enterprise IoT, eBusiness and related application components.
  •          Integrate customer specific applications with the corporation’s enterprise applications.
  •          Codify solutions via documentation, reference architectures, flowcharts, diagrams in line with corporate standards.
  •          API development and integration
  •          Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Requirements:
  • BSEE, BSET, BSME, BSMET or equivalent
  •          Must be multi-talented, able and willing to wear a lot of hats and provide support as needed outside of normal responsibilities to achieve goals / support customer needs.
  •          Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment, with the initiative to “do what it takes” to meet project milestones.
  •          Highest attention to detail
  •          Very good communication skills, including both verbal and written (technical reports, etc.)
  •          Understand hydraulic and electrical circuits
  •          Understand hydraulic and hydraulic circuits
  •          Ability to program J1939 CAN environment, other programing experience preferred. (PLC, C, C++, Labview)
  •          Simulation experience (Matlab, Simulink, AMESim
