Regional Sales Manager - Urethane

Our client is a German manufacturer of high quality Power Transmission belts and one of the leading companies in this industry. Production facilities across Europe and Asia support our leading role in the markets across the world. As a stable and future oriented company we are looking for additional assistance to support our continuous growth.


Regional Manager – North East and South East territories

Generates revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales; recommending new products and services and providing technical support to customers.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Identifies market potential by qualifying Key accounts for Urethane and Special Belting Products (OMH product portfolio).
  • Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements.
  • Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts.
  • Expands sales in existing key accounts for Polyurethane Products and Special Belting by introducing new products and services; developing new applications.
  • Assists Territory Sales Managers with Distributors, OEMs and end users (through distribution).
  • Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.
  • Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Becomes well versed in product line and product applications.
  • Helps to grow business through value added engineering support.
  • Makes presentations to end user customers and distributors detailing our products and how they relate to specific industries and applications.
