National law firm with an established and expanding labor and employment practice.
They want to add two associates with three to six years of experience to join its Labor & Employment practice in Chicago, Ohio, or Atlanta.
One of the positions is with their Labor practice. Experience representing clients in traditional labor and union relations is required. Experience in employment litigation and employment counseling and compliance is a plus. The ideal candidate will have experience advising employers of all sizes on union issues, such as the interpretation and negotiation of collective bargaining and labor agreements, to developing strike contingency plans and defending unfair labor practice proceedings and claims before the National Labor Relations Board and various state and federal courts.
Traditional labor experience is critical
The second position is with their traditional employment practice. Candidates need two to five years of experience working in a sophisticated Labor & Employment practice. Qualified attorneys will have experience defending management in the full spectrum of discrimination matters, FLSA, FMLA, Title VII, defending clients against EEOC charges
Excellent law firm academics and writing skills are mandatory
