Labor and Employment Attorney

Our client is a large SE based law firm.  They have a full service, national Labor and Employment practice.   They represent their clients in matters of unfair labor practices, discrimination, sexual harassment, employee misclassification and pay disputes, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, and employment contract disputes.

The group wants to add a labor and employment attorney with between two years, but not more than four years of experience in a labor and employment practice.

This is a client facing position.  It is a combination of employment litigation, advising clients on all areas of employment issues and working on employment issues involved in transactions



  • Drafting settlement agreements, separation agreements, and executive employment agreements
  • Wage and hour compliance audits in multiple jurisdictions
  • Internal EEO investigations for alleged violations of corporate policy
  • Taking depositions for cases involving harassment, discrimination, and retaliation
  • Working on class-action employment litigation
  • National Labor Relations Act (NLRA)
  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
  • Americans with Disabilities Act ( ADA)
  • Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA)
  • Equal Pay Act (EPA)
  • Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) 
  • Outstanding academics from top tier school
  • No more than 4 years of practice
