Midwest USA Hydraulic Hose Sales Specialist

Our client is a private-brand marketer/wholesaler of industrial rubber products such as industrial and hydraulic hose and rubber gasketing material. They are experiencing very high growth rates, this trend is expected to continue well into the future.

We seek a sales professional to sell these products but with a specific focus on Hydraulic Hose and accessory products. The territory is IL, IN, MO, IA, WI, and MN.

Being responsible for a multi-million dollar region, you will work with an established distribution network.

You will service and maintain major accounts as well as prospect for substantial hydraulic hose sales opportunities.

YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO SPEND SIGNIFICANT TIME DISCOVERING NEW BUSINESS.

The ideal candidate will ensure profitable growth in sales and revenue through planning, execution and management of the territory.

 

Requirements


•           Experienced in Industrial B2B Sales – A MUST.

•           Strong Interpersonal Skills − able to build and sustain strong and healthy relationships with customers and team members

•           Mechanical and engineering aptitude - knowledge of industrial and hydraulic hose and rubber products.

•           Ability to grasp engineering and product application concepts easily.   

•           Extremely comfortable working from home and being on the road for a high percentage of time.

•           Computer literate (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)

•           Demonstrated skills and abilities in pricing, distribution cost drivers and margin analysis

•           Experience in implementation of marketing initiatives such as new product introductions.

•           Proven record of professional growth and self-development, a continuous learner.

•           Knowledge of outlined territory – key players, markets served penetration strategies, etc.

•           Strong relationships with territory’s key accounts.
