QUICK MOLD CHANGE FOR PLASTICS MANUFACTURING --- WESTERN USA
Function
Our client is a well-known and well respected international manufacturer of quick mold change products. We seek a proven sales and business development specialist for the plastics manufacturing industry.
MICHIGAN/ONTARIO:
Identify and analyze needs, suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client requirements.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
• Bring technical and commercial support to Territory Sales Engineers by:
▪ Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions
that meet their objectives.
▪ Generate new sales by setting meetings with potential clients and proposing solutions
that meet their objectives.
▪ Negotiate/close orders - handle complaints and objections.
▪ Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations and demos that clearly communicate
the uniqueness of the value proposition.
▪ Develop customers’ staff by providing technical information and training.
• Organize and conduct workshops at customers, including ROI presentations.
• Organize periodic market & customer trend analysis with regional sales team.
This person will cover this area with a high density of A accounts and corporate headquarters.
It is an established region with the highest revenue relative to others, still looking to aggressively grow our business with “A” accounts and develop corporate standards for quick-mold-change solutions.
Employee to be based in Michigan (greater Detroit area) – monthly Canada visits to mold makers in Windsor & throughout Ontario.
Requirements
Ideal candidates have automotive-molding industry experience, engineering/technical background (manufacturing engineering, injection molding process or tooling experience), SMED (single-minute exchange of die) experience.
